Privacy Policy

1. Information Collected & Its Use

CKVPN collects information limited to the following three categories:

• Account information: registration requires no email address, only a username and password. Passwords are stored as irreversible hashes; plaintext is never saved. If a user voluntarily adds an email in account settings, it is used only for password recovery and service notifications.
• Order and usage records: order number, plan or data package purchased, payment amount, payment method category, and order time, used to activate service, reconcile accounts, and process refunds (a full refund can be requested within 14 days of the first payment). Data usage is recorded only as a total figure for quota calculation; the content of traffic is never involved.
• Access statistics: the website uses self-hosted analytics that record aggregated data such as page views and traffic source categories, used to improve page content. This data is not used to build individual profiles and is never sold or shared with third parties.

2. Logging Stance

CKVPN does not record which websites or apps users access through the acceleration lines, nor does it log destination addresses, DNS query content, transmitted content, or detailed timelines. Line servers maintain only the session state necessary for forwarding in memory, which is released when the session ends and never written to persistent storage.

To maintain quotas and prevent abuse, the system retains only a total traffic counter and active session count per account; these counts contain no information from which browsing activity could be reconstructed.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

The website and user panel use a small number of cookies and browser local storage (localStorage), limited to the following purposes:

• Storing a login-state token so users don't need to sign in again on every visit;
• Remembering language preference so the next visit loads the matching language page directly;
• Anonymous visitor identifiers for access statistics, used to distinguish page views from visitor counts.

None of the above is used for cross-site tracking. Clearing browser data removes all local storage content; users will need to sign in again afterward.

4. Payment Data Handling

CKVPN supports Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Payments are processed entirely by the corresponding third-party payment channel; CKVPN never accesses or stores users' payment account credentials. The system only retains the order number, amount, and payment status returned by the channel, used for order reconciliation and refund processing. Refunds are returned via the original payment route and handled by that channel.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Account information and order records are retained for as long as the account exists. Users can request account deletion at any time via the ticket system in the user panel: after deletion, account information and usage counters are removed; order records are kept only briefly as needed for reconciliation or unresolved refunds, and cleared once processing is complete.

Aggregated data in access statistics is not linked to specific accounts and cannot, and need not, be deleted on an individual basis.

6. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated as the service evolves. Updates will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date; significant changes such as an expanded scope of data collection will also be announced in the user panel. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Questions about this policy can be submitted via a ticket in the user panel.
